Guided Tours
You can reserve a personalized guided trip any day of the week.
Our guide is an outstanding storyteller, expert naturalist, as well as an authority on local lore and history. Wherever we go plan on an enjoyable, relaxing paddle filled with local history, anecdote's, birding and maybe even a fishing story or two.
Enjoying ourselves and introducing others to the treasures of the waters and history of our local area is our objective. The destination of any scheduled trip can, with enough interest and far enough in advance, be changed. For example, if you and your family/friends would rather go to the Sanganois, Emiquon, Sugar Creek etc., when we have scheduled Sangamon River, (or vise versa) ask us, we will let you know if that is do-able. No guarantees, but it never hurts to ask.
Our water adventures depend upon rainfall and water levels. Rain dates will be discussed on an as-needed basis.
As the outdoors is the great equalizer, we encourage those who have particular physical challenges to come paddle with us. When reserving your place on our trips, inform us of your situation and we will do whatever we can to adapt to meet your particular needs. For instance, we have kayaks adapted with added flotation for stabalization.
We also have 3 seater canoes, so if you have a problem paddling, only want to paddle part of the time, or just want to relax, let us know and we can do our best to accomodate.
Prior to paddle, please inform us of any health concerns, allergies or food restrictions.
Cost depends on variables such as travel distance, provided amenities, etc.
Keep looking for more trips as we are updating our website in the next few days.
Our Fall trips are planned and we will be publishing information soon! Please be mindful that the numbers are limited so plan early to reserve your boat.
