We will paddle out to Knapps Island (45 minute paddle one-way) and explore the waters and wilderness. This trip is for the adventurous. So far, our excursions have averaged 6-8 hours. It is true wilderness in Central Illinois. 

The Sanganois State Fish and Wildlife Area is an Illinois State Conservation area on 10,360 acres (41.93 km²) in Cass, Schuyler and Mason County, Illinois.

This former hideout of Al Capone is home to the widest variety of birds in the state.

What to bring: water, snacks, sunglasses, hat, comfortable clothing, shoes you can walk, and paddle in, bug repellant and sunscreen.

$55 per person includes guide, boats, pfd's, paddling instruction.

We will bring lunch, snacks and water to be available, at no cost.
